Before Visalia musician Rudy Parris made his television debut Monday on NBC’s “The Voice,” he was known locally as a versatile musician with a big voice and a big heart.
For 10 years, Parris played with Buck Owens at the Crystal Palace in Bakersfield. On “The Voice,” he sang “Every Breath You Take” originally recorded by The Police in 1983. Parris was the final performer of the night. Some reaction from the Twitter world included a tweet that said “this dudes hair rocks.”
