Corcoran woman dies in crash north of Alpaugh

A Cor­co­ran woman was not wear­ing her seat belt and her 11-month-old boy was not prop­erly restrained when the vehi­cle they were in over­turned in south­east Tulare County on Mon­day. Abi­gail Rodriguez, 28, suf­fered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene, Road 40 south of Avenue 112, about 10 miles south of Cor­co­ran. Her son, whose name was with­held, suf­fered major injuries and has been taken to a Bay Area hospital.
