Tulare Regional Medical Center Candidates

Tulare Regional Med­ical Cen­ter (TRMC) money prob­lems, city eco­nom­ics and the need for a more diverse Tulare City Coun­cil were key top­ics at Tuesday’s Can­di­dates Night, hosted jointly by the city’s Cham­ber of Com­merce and Sorop­tomist Club. The two con­tenders for the Area 2 hos­pi­tal board seat both stressed con­cern that con­struc­tion has stopped on the plastic-wrapped tower, part of the emergency-room expan­sion for TRMC.
