Governor Brown is calling on the California Air Resources Board to increase the state’s fuel supply in order to reduce gas prices. The order calls for the state to allow refineries to switch to the cheaper, winter-blend fuel. The switch over usually happens at the end of the month. Experts say the governor’s move should drop gas prices by up to 20 cents a gallon in the next few days.
