Tulare Man Killed in Car Crash

The Tulare Coroner’s Office iden­ti­fied Mon­day the motor­cy­cle rider killed in a crash in Tulare Fri­day. Cur­tis Murch, 53, of Tulare, suf­fered fatal injuries dur­ing the crash reported on South K Street, north of Paige Avenue. Tulare Police Sgt. Dar­ron Alter­matt said a pre­lim­i­nary inves­ti­ga­tion indi­cates Murch was trav­el­ing south­bound on K when he appar­ently hit a rail­road cross­ing arm and then struck a big rig stopped on the roadway.
