Moments after for­mally announc­ing his retire­ment Tues­day, Dis­trict Attor­ney Phil Cline was described by Tulare County Super­vi­sor Pete Van­der Poel as a “man’s man, and a leader’s leader.” Luck­ily for Tulare County, Cline described the man he he has rec­om­mended to take his spot as a “prosecutor’s prosecutor.”
