Water Rate Hikes

Peo­ple in Visalia and Tulare are fac­ing higher prices for water, despite hav­ing heeded pleas to save water and reduc­ing their over­all water use. In Tulare, which runs its own water sys­tem, offi­cials say rate increases are needed to make the sys­tem self-supporting and to allow for improvements.
