CHP Launches Drowsy Driving Program

The California Highway Patrol is launching a campaign this week to raise awareness about the dangers of driving while drowsy. The CHP is reminding drivers that getting behind the wheel while sleepy can be deadly. In 2010, there were 32 deaths and more than two-thousand injuries caused by tired motorists. The CHP and the National Sleep Foundation says drivers should get seven to nine hours of sleep before driving.
