Porterville man held on drug possession charge

A Porter­ville man police said was in pos­ses­sion of sus­pected metham­phet­a­mine was taken into cus­tody Sat­ur­day.
Daniel Mar­tinez, 20, was booked into the Tulare County Main Jail on sus­pi­cion of pos­sess­ing metham­phet­a­mine and vio­lat­ing parole.
Accord­ing to police, offi­cers responded to a bar in the 100 block of North Main Street for reports of a dis­tur­bance involv­ing a man, later iden­ti­fied as Martinez.
