Elder Abuse: Three Rivers Woman Accused

A Three Rivers woman is behind bars fac­ing elder abuse charges.

Judy Dovel was arrested Sun­day, accused of abus­ing an 88-year-old woman.

Accord­ing to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, the vic­tim was suf­fer­ing from dis­lo­cated fin­gers and swelling to the brain. She is now recov­er­ing at a hospital.

Dovel was booked into the Tulare County Bob Wiley Deten­tion Facility.
