CHP Accused Of Racial Profiling

A group of 100 Cen­tral Val­ley farm­work­ers and their fam­i­lies are accus­ing the Cal­i­for­nia High­way Patrol of racial pro­fil­ing. They say the offi­cers are tar­get­ing Latino dri­vers by pulling them over for no good rea­son and then impound­ing their cars because they don’t have a dri­vers license. The group gath­ered at the Catholic Church in Caruthers yes­ter­day. The ACLU is help­ing the group and the CHP has said they will investigate.
