It’s life in prison for a con­victed cop killer. Judge Dar­ryl Fer­gu­son sen­tenced 25 year old Jorge Banda of Ivan­hoe for the mur­der of Tulare County Sheriff*s Detec­tive Kent Haws yes­ter­day morn­ing to Life in prison with­out the pos­si­bil­ity of parole. In addi­tion the
Court added a manda­tory addi­tional term of 25 years to life for the use of a firearm in the com­mis­sion of the crime.
