Hmong Celebrate The New Year

The Hmong New Year cel­e­bra­tion is under­way at the Fresno County Fair­grounds. Thou­sands showed up for the first day of the fes­tiv­i­ties yes­ter­day. Aside from Hmong foods, dance and music, there will be a mixed mar­tial arts show­case, beauty pageants and dance com­pe­ti­tions. The Hmong New Year cel­e­bra­tions run until Jan­u­ary 1st.
