Sierra Snowpack Above Normal

The recent storms are helping the Sierra snowpack. The Department of Water Resources says their electronic readings put the snowpack at 146-percent of normal for this time of year. Crews will go out on foot in the Sierra on Wednesday of next week to conduct the first official snow survey of the year. The snowpack provides drinking water for millions of Californians.
