DMV Vintage License Plates Available

Cal­i­for­nia dri­vers will soon be able to go “old-school” when it comes to their license plates. The DMV is tak­ing orders for repli­cas of vin­tage license plates issued in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. The retro-styles for the license plates include black let­ter­ing over a yel­low back­ground as issued in the 50s, yel­low let­ter­ing over a black back­ground from the 60s and yel­low let­ter­ing over a blue back­ground from the 70s. Those want­ing to get the old-f
