South Valley authorities say the recent winter holiday crackdown against drunk drivers resulted in a significant number of DUI arrests. From December 14th through January 1st, law enforcement personnel in Tulare and Kings counties arrested 111 people for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. During the same time last year, officials arrested 183 people for DUI offenses. Authorities say there were no fatal DUI collisions this year.
