Man Arrested for Assaulting Two Visalia Women

Visalia police said they arrested a man who they say went into a business, attacked two female employees and made off with a computer. Authorities said Sakuma Lockard, 36, walked into the business on South Mooney Boulevard late Wednesday night and struck a female worker. When the employee’s female friend tried to help her, Lockard allegedly hit her several times, then walked out with a lap-top. On Thursday, police caught Lockard after a short foot chase and recovered the computer.
