Corcoran Guard Injured In Attack

A Cor­co­ran prison guard is recov­er­ing from an inmate attack. State prison offi­cials say inmate Tavis Thomp­son hit the guard and cut him with a home­made weapon. Two other guards were injured when they responded. Thomp­son was serv­ing 55-years to life for assault with a deadly weapon.
