Authorities say a package of papayas sent from Visalia to Alaska had four pounds of methamphetamine hidden inside. According to the “Anchorage Daily News,” the drugs were vacuum sealed inside the papayas and sent via express mail. An inspector told Channel 24 they got a tip about the drugs and intercepted the package. The drugs were replaced with a harmless substance, delivered to the recipient and an arrest was made as soon as the package was opened.
