Bill Would Allow 17-Year-Old Voters

A state lawmaker is introducing a bill that would allow 17-year-olds to vote in a primary election. The legislation would amend the state Constitution and allow teens to vote if they’ll be eighteen years old at the time of the general election. The bill is aimed at increasing the youth vote. Twenty states already have similar laws.
