Crash Injures Boy

A crash early Mon­day morn­ing sent two peo­ple to the hos­pi­tal and a Visalia man to jail.
Early reports came in just before 7:45 a.m. that a hit-and-run occurred in the area of High­way 63 and Avenue 336, just north of Visalia. When Cal­i­for­nia High­way Patrol offi­cers arrived at the scene, they found a car had been rammed so hard by another vehi­cle that much of the front end was miss­ing. A 10-year-old boy in the back seat and his mother, who was dri­ving, were trans­ported by ambu­lance to Kaweah Delta Med­ical Center.
