A crash early Monday morning sent two people to the hospital and a Visalia man to jail.
Early reports came in just before 7:45 a.m. that a hit-and-run occurred in the area of Highway 63 and Avenue 336, just north of Visalia. When California Highway Patrol officers arrived at the scene, they found a car had been rammed so hard by another vehicle that much of the front end was missing. A 10-year-old boy in the back seat and his mother, who was driving, were transported by ambulance to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
