Spelling Bee winner

It was a year of firsts for the 14th annual Tulare County Spelling Cham­pi­onships.
The cham­pi­onship, hosted by the Tulare County Office of Edu­ca­tion (TCOE) and spon­sored by the Visalia Times-Delta/Tulare Advance-Register, was held Wednes­day at the Visalia Con­ven­tion Cen­ter. This year’s first-place cham­pion was Mitchell Miya, 14, of Pio­neer Mid­dle School in Han­ford. His win­ning word was “facticide.”
